Magnus

Biography

Seattle based producer Magnus is an electronic musician that has released with labels such as Discover, Pharmacy, JOOF, Solarswarm, and Perfecto Fluoro. His career began in 2002 while performing around the Seattle area under the DJ name of “Magnus.”In more recent years, Magnus began working with Perfecto, releasing a Magnus Dub remix of I’m Alive by Paul Oakenfold and Infected Mushroom, as well as his original track Velvet. Most recently, Magnus began working with Activa and Solarstone on several projects.Magnus has often been referred to as a crossover artist, combining the elements of both trance and psytrance, creating a unique, signature sound for which he has become known for.Magnus’s first artist album, “Signal Strength”, was released in May of 2011 on JOOF Recordings. His 2nd album is due out in 2013 on Activa’s label, Borderline.
